🧑‍💼 About Me

Hi, my name is Robin. I'm an Englishman living in Brazil and working as a freelance translator, who's fascinated by language and cultural interaction.

Although originally from the UK, I’ve made Brazil my home and found myself providing a bridge between Portuguese and English.

I now have several years of experience translating Brazilian Portuguese into English. I work with everything from corporate documents and academic papers to subtitles, articles, and website content. I specialize in making sure the message remains natural, fluent, and professional when in English — so it doesn't sound translated.

🎯 What I Do

  • Professional translation (PT → EN)
I help Brazilian professionals, companies, and content creators present their ideas in polished, fluent English.

  • Subtitle creation and English transcription
I offer accurate English transcriptions and subtitles for podcasts, videos, and interviews.

  • Mentoring and training for translators
I teach Brazilian translators how to improve their English writing and deliver high-quality translations. I share practical tips, feedback, and support so you can grow in confidence and skill.

✍️ My Mission

Whether you’re a customer who needs a professional English version of your content, or a translator who wants to sharpen up their English, I’m here to help.

My goal is simple:
To raise the standard of English produced in Brazil — one translation, one text or one student at a time.
